The wire brush technique beautifully enhances the unique grain of this wood and gives it a slightly weathered finish that will hide any accidental scratches (although Acacia is already naturally scratch-resistant). 

As a minimalist alternative to external drawer handles, the top edges of the drawers are tapered for an easy grip.
